Protecting My Dog's Neck with a Harness

When my dog comes on vacation, I think everything we do, we do it for her. Looking back at my camera roll, it’s mostly her, and don’t even get me started on how many TikToks we did! We even rented a boat for the day, and she decides to sit right in the front when we anchored in this secluded cove.⁠ We might as well have rented it for her! ⁠

When we anchor, we make the switch from bulky lifejacket to harness. We've been using this cute pink harness from Doco, which is perfect because it's bright to see, and it's also breathable for her on these warm days.⁠ ⁠

In case you didn’t know, pugs have to use harnesses, not collars, due to being susceptible to slipped disc injuries, something that Gaga has experienced before. It was scary to see her in so much pain and not being able to walk, but thankfully my pet insurance covered some of the expenses (including acupuncture) and she’s healthy now!

Because of that, we have to make sure she has a high-quality harness to keep her safe and comfortable, and it helps that this one we got her is a pretty pink too!
