Filipino Skin Care: Pili Ani

When I saw Pili Ani skincare is from the Philippines, I knew I had to give it a try. I was especially intrigued by the use of Pili & Elemi oils, because I love learning about new oils and how they can benefit you. These oils combined is a powerful combination that is both moisturizing & firming, which was much needed after all that time spent on the lake!⁠ ⁠

• Pili and Elemi oils both come from one tree, the Pili tree from the Bicol Region in the Philippines. They call this tree the "Chosen Tree" because it bears more fruit after each typhoon.⁠ ⁠

• Pili oil contains high concentration of antioxidants to protect skin from free radicals, and it also contains fatty acids to keep skin nourished and hydrated.⁠ ⁠

• Elemi oil has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that can improve skin health. Elemi oils are also key for firming and tightening of skin.⁠ ⁠
