Moment for Mom Tea Box
My tea subscription box from Sips By has been my saving grace during Shelter-in-Place (hey, that rhymed) because Tea Time at 10am is one thing I love about my daily routine. But as a tea lover, I know not all teas are the same, so trying them all out at 10am won’t do the trick.
My latest box, Moment for Mom, has to be one of my favorites because it’s a special box to help the mamas out there have some me-time. This is something that I believe is so important, and the teas in this box help remind me that I deserve to have more me-time with my tea later in the day. Since the selection of teas in this box all help mamas wind down, I think I may institute a Tea Time at 10pm too!
I started off with a cup of Unwind from Snarky Tea because I loved that it has kava in it. I ran out of kava from my previous trips to Hawaii, and since I can’t go to a kava bar, this helps fill that void up. This caffeine-free blend includes:
Kava Kava for restlessness
Tulsi, aka Holy Basil for stress
Blend of Green Rooibos, Lemon Balm, Schisandra Berry Powder
I love how this is loose leaf tea in tea pyramids so I can just plop it in my mug. The flavor is so good, and you can definitely taste the lemon balm. The pouch contains 4 bags, which I can tell I’ll be using up with the quickness. What’s especially cool about this company is that it’s founded by busy women who took their tea company to Shark Tank to encourage women to take charge of their health with functional tea blends...and some humor.

There is enough to make 15 cups in here, which would make mom happy for multiple days! The box also comes with disposable tea bags and a reusable muslin cloth bag to make brewing the loose leaf teas an easy task.
But what I’m REALLY excited to try later this week is my own tea-infused bath. I love how this box has directions on how to do it, and even suggests to use the muslin cloth bag to brew it up in the tub, which will serve as my new tea bag strictly for the bath. You know I love baths, and have been experimenting with more ritual baths thanks to Mama Medicine. But since Tub Tours is on a pause, I’ve been taking more baths at home now, so finding other ways to enjoy my tub is exactly what I need! I swear this box can’t be more perfect for me!
